Steve Nash + Ball Launcher
To promote and sell tickets for the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge competition, we paired global soccer skills influencers The F2 with NBA Hall-of-Famer Steve Nash and set them loose with the event’s new ball launcher challenge. We brought them together at Banc of California Stadium, the home of Los Angeles Football Club and site of the All-Star Game.
I oversaw the entire production from start to finish, including developing the concept, creating storyboards, getting location permissions, hiring crews, and producing and directing the shoot on site, and supervising the edit remotely as the F2 video team edited the piece in the U.K.
As one of the primary stakeholders for the skills property I also developed the content plan to support the announcement of the event and coordinated the efforts of our social, editorial, communications and ticketing teams to make the announcement come to life simultaneously across our various channels.
